WOMAN,THE COMPLICATED CREATURE

                                       Guys, do you understand women?

                                          I surely don’t lorrrr...

I want to tell you a story...

2 weeks ago I came across a female client. One of her tyres had punctured and she had to replace with a new tyre in my shop. Then I have recommended her to also do alignment and balancing which is around RM50.

“I don’t need balancing and alignment . I only have RM50 left in my purse and that’s for my Manicure later. Ohh, can you quickly change the tyre? I don’t want to miss my appointment later.” She said

I tried my best to advise her to service the car because whenever you change new tyre, balancing  and alignment is always necessary otherwise you will face tyre wear problems.

She ignored my advice... Potong Stim!

RM50 on this? Some even cost more???!!

2 weeks later, today, I saw her again in my shop and she needed another new tyre which cost her RM200 and another RM50 for alignment & balancing. She quietly agreed to pay the bill. I can’t help but to peek at her fingers, all her nails colors had faded dreadfully just after 2 weeks! What are women thinking???!!

I tried to ask my girlfriend and my sisters, how worthy is it to do manicure? Frankly, I don’t understand what they said.No wonder people say women are so hard to understand!

Well, if you ask me, RM50 manicure definitely not as worthy as RM50 of alignment and balancing!

Agree?

Anyway, here is the lists of 5 Benefits of Alignment & Balancing I want to share with you that I got from www.dennispowney.co.uk:

1) Safety
An unbalanced wheel has limited traction, which decreases the control you have of the vehicle under braking, especially in emergency situations.  Excessive vibration also causes driver fatigue over long journeys.

2) Eliminates Excessive Tyre Wear
An unbalanced & unaligned wheel means the tyre takes more punishment.  This can shorten its life and cause excessive and uneven wear of the tread.  Your tyres will need replacing sooner.

3) Reduces Fuel Consumption and Running Costs
The extra effort required to rotate the unbalanced wheel makes the engine work harder.  This takes its toll on fuel consumption and you get fewer miles per gallon.  Over the years this adds considerably to your running costs.

4) Smooth Running
Remember how your car handled when it was brand new?  The drive was really smooth with no vibration.  Properly balanced wheels restore the “new car” feeling.  It takes out the vibration which spoils the ride on motorway journeys.

5) Reduces Repair Bills
Out-of-balance wheels expose other components, such as steering and suspension, to excessive wear and tear and therefore they will require replacing more frequently.

So....How often do you need Alignment & Wheel balancing?
Every 5,000-10,000 km  or as soon as when you feel your car is "goyang" (vibrating) or when your car "lari"(run) to a side!

If you still have questions about alignment and balancing, just ring my handphone at 012 299 7021. We can discuss this further! Our shop's machines are all up-to-date so you can trust us on our skill! We perform Balancing & Alignment to ALL types of car, even big trucks as our shops is huge!

THEY CALL ME "THE KING OF RIMS"

I am a very modest and down-to-earth person. However, whenever I hear people call me as “The King of Rims”, I have to admit, I deserve the title.

I won’t promise you that I know "EVERYTHING" about Rims, but what I can promise you is that my wide-knowledge about rims guarantees satisfactions from a lot of customers. I assure you I handle businesses with honest and integrity which earns me a lot of return happy customers.

I am 27 years old this year with 27 years of exposure to Cars. My parents run car workshop business ever since they were in their early twenties. Hence, it’s almost impossible not to know a thing or two about cars since my dad always tells us stories about his work.

I have great endless passions with cars, mainly RIMS. I ADORE COOL CARS and I always think rims do an awesome job transforming a dull-looking car into a cool car. That’s why when my dad asked what is my ambition is when I was 5 years old, I told him “I want to be just like you, selling lots and lots of rims”.

I pursued my ambition and graduated from University of Michigan Technological, USA with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Now, I am slowly taking over my parents’ business. We have 5 branches all around Klang Valley and more to come. I am happy with my busy life now and I am eager to learn a lot more about Cars.

I am happy that I have decided to write a blog about my obsession towards rims and cars. I am so keen to share my stories with the rest of you. Come and share stories with us if you too have great passion about rims. Let’s learn together!
